COLOMBO — The Founders’ Day ceremony of the All Ceylon Muslim League Youth Front was held on Tuesday May 20 att the J.R. Jayewardene Center Auditorium, Colombo. It was held under the patronage of President of the Youth Front Sham Nawaz.
Former Speaker of Parliament Karu Jayasuriya attended the event as the chief guest.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Dayan Jayathilake,Former Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nationsin Geneva under the theme of ‘Unveiling Justice: How the Palestine Context Highlights Global Challenges for Institutions and Smaller Nations’ at this event.
At this event, a book was released authored by Heras Fernando in memory of the late Deshamanya M.A. Bakeer Makar, former Speaker and founder of this youth front.
Religious Leaders, Diplomats, Representatives of Muslim organizations, and Members of the Youth Front were also present.
