COLOMBO; People are undergoing a series of transport problems to go from one place to another in the city of Colombo,
With limited transport facilities , u cannot hire a three-wheeler from the roads nor u can book taxis online these days !
Leslie , a private taxi driver has spent four days consecutively at the IOC Petrol shed at DS Senanayake Mawathe Borella ,told Colombo Times that this is terrible to wait this long in the queue. “ there is a big racket going on in between the waiting customers and the Petrol shed ,he explained , “ some motorists are jumping the queue under the pretext of having tokens and get off with full tank petrol in their vehicles .” This is being done in connivance with the police !
Common man feels highly unsecured on the road , even he cannot find a taxi even to gk to the nearest hospital in times of emergency!
