COLOMBO : The Association of Alternate Financial Institutions (AAFI), with the objective of disseminating knowledge on Islamic Finance Products, will be hosting its fifth webinar of the series on Islamic Finance products, with NDB Bank.
AAFI is engaged in supporting the promotion and growth of the non-interest based banking and finance industry by creating a forum for members to voice, discuss and arrive at common solutions to challenges faced. The Association also stands to make collective representation to the relevant policy makers and regulatory authorities to establish a level playing field in Accounting, Tax and Legal aspects.
This complimentary webinar will focus on ‘Practical Applications of Mudharabah in Islamic Banking’ where the presentation on the subject will be carried out by Mr. Ameen Ashad – Relationship Manager at NDB Bank and Mr. Sheikh Insaaf Mashood – Member of the Shariah Supervisory Board at NDB Bank, moderated by Mr. Suresh R.I. Perera – Vice President of AAFI, Principal- Tax & Regulatory at KPMG. The Webinar will be held on 04th June 2025 (Wednesday) at 3pm and the webinar will be hosted on MS Teams.
