COLOMBO :The Association of Alternate Financial Institutions (AAFI), with the objective of disseminating knowledge on Islamic Finance Products, will be hosting its second webinar of the series on IF products with Al-Falaah LOLC Finance.
AAFI is engaged in supporting the promotion and growth of the non-interest-based banking and finance industry by creating a forum for members to voice, discuss and arrive at common solutions to challenges faced. The Association also stands to make collective representation to the relevant policy makers and regulatory authorities to establish a level playing field in Accounting, Tax and Legal aspects.
The second complimentary webinar will focus on ‘Ijarah’ where the presentation on the subject will be carried out by Mr. Fazil Mohideen, Associate Manager – BU Operations at Al-Falaah LOLC Finance PLC. The Webinar will be held on 11th March 2024 (Monday) at 3.30 pm and the webinar will be hosted on MS Teams.
Mr. Shiraz Refai (Head of Alternate Financial Services at LOLC Finance PLC) and Mr. Ilsam Awfer (Chief Manager – Alternate Finance Services at LOLC Finance PLC) will join Fazil at the panel discussion.
