COLOMBO ; A program for Quazi judges was held on Sunday,Jan 28 at the Zam Zam Foundation auditorium in Dehiwela.
Amhar Sheriff , Secretary of the Sri Lanka Quazi Judges Forum told Colombo Times that the event was organized by the Sri Lanka Judges’ Institute with the assistance of Judicial Services Commission & The Sri Lanka Quazi Judges Forum to help participants refresh their duties and obligations as judges in family courts
The speakers on the occasion included Chancellor of the South Eastern University President Counsel Faisz Mustafa,Lakmal Wickramasooriya Judge of the High Court/Deputy Director SLJI , Retired Justice A.W.A. Salam, Retired,President Court of Appeal/ Consultant to SLJI, M. Mihal Judge of the High Court, Mannar,Thasneem Banu District Judge, Muttur Nadvi Bahauddin and M. Ifham Yehiya President of the Sri Lanka Quazi Judges
