TPA leader Mano Ganesan tells president Dissanayake to address the root causes of those caused the 30-year war.
“It will pave way for all Sri Lankans to commemorate their dead souls and also celebrate victory over state and non-state terrorism”
On the eve of the Victoryday and Mullivaaikkal Commemoration, Mano taking to his X platform said:
“ Sri Lankan national journey should reach the patriotic destination when we as SRI LANKANS should be able to commemorate all our dead souls and if need to be, victory over all kind of terrorism, state and non-state and those occurred in the south and north of the country.
To reach this destination, the state of Sri Lanka should address the root causes of those caused 30-year war with the inclusive approach.
The causes derive since 1948 from the #Defrachisement_act, #Sinhala_only act, Dishonorable dismissals of #Banda_Chelva & #Dudley_Chelva Acts, #CBK package of year 2000, Under-implementation of #13A, Non-recognition of the #diversity nature of the SriLankan society with several ethnicities, languages and religions, Non-implementations of the post war #LLRC recommendations, Ignorance towards #Mahinda- #Banki_Moon joint statement etc.
If not our journey will be nothing but “back to square one”.ManoGanesan concluded
