COLOMBO — The Bauddhaloka Vesak Zone, organized by the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress was inaugurated on Monday May 12 and it will be held through May 14 . onwards along Bauddhaloka Mawatha in Colombo.
A large collection of lanterns, Pandols, and Bakthi Gee performances and dansals were lit up evening this year at Bauddhaloka Mawatha in Colombo.
Cargills had illuminated the Bauddhaloka Mawatha Vesak Kalapaya 2025 for the second consecutive year.
The Vesak Kalapaya featured a variety of food and beverage stalls, offering delightful treats, including a Magic ice cream dansal, refreshing KIST fruit drinks, Kotmale dairy products and other refreshments for visitors.
A large number of visitors including Buddhist , Tamils and Muslims were present.
