

COLOMBO : Emirates’ state-of-the-art A350 has officially joined the Colombo route, making its ceremonial debut at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) on Tuesday,March 25th.
The retrofitted aircraft, designed for enhanced passenger comfort and efficiency, marks a significant upgrade in the airline’s offering for travelers flying to and from Sri Lanka.
This milestone reinforces Emirates’ long-standing commitment to the destination, delivering an elevated travel experience with cutting-edge technology and premium onboard amenities.

Emirates has ordered a total of 65 Airbus A350-900s*, which will be part of the airline’s fleet growth strategy.
These new aircraft will enhance Emirates’ medium and long-haul operations, offering improved comfort and efficiency.
The airline has already taken delivery of its first A350-900 and plans to receive the remaining 64 aircraft over the next few years, with the goal of completing the deliveries by 2028!!
