COLOMBO : Sri Lanka has declared Tuesday,p 21st May as a day of mourning following the death of the Iranian President, the late Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, who lost his life in a helicopter crash along with eight others.
Meanwhile, the Iranian embassy in Colombo has informed with deep sorrow, the unprecedented tragic crash of helicopter, carrying Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Amir Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the accompanying delegation.
A Book of Condolences will be open for signing at the Residence of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at No. 222. Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7 to express sympathy, solidarity, and offer support to the families and loved ones of the Martyred from 10 am to 5 pm through Friday 24th May.u
