Fits Air launches new direct flights between Colombo and Dhaka

COLOMBO :  Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Pvt) Limited announced the Fits Air is expanding its wings, adding Colombo-Dhaka direct flights from 17^th April 

 As the airport operator and facilitator, AASL is happy to see the significant stride taken by FitsAir to expand regional connectivity with its maiden flight from Colombo to Dhaka.

At present, Fits Air operates to three destinations from Colombo (Dubai, Chennai & Maldives). With this new route expansion, this will increase to four destinations, and it will contribute immensely to the development of the travel, trade, and tourism industries between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

According to Ammar Kassim, Executive Director of FitsAir, “The Bangladesh economy is one of the fastest growing in the world, and we’re excited to offer competitive prices for business travelers and visitors alike. We anticipate our non-stop service to Dhaka will stimulate bilateral trade and economic growth.”
