COLOMBO : Foreign minister Ali Sabry, founder of Sri Lankan Intl.School in Jeddah attended its silver jubilee celebrations recently.
Speaking on the occasion,Sabry said : “I was filled with nostalgia and joy to be a part of the Sri Lankan International School’s 25th anniversary celebrations in Jeddah. It was established in 1998 by a group of like-minded Sri Lankans, including myself, as a young diplomat.
The school was built with community support and without using public funding. It has evolved into a thriving school with remarkable accomplishments, including world-class prizes. Although times have changed, the school has remained committed to its objective. I hope it becomes stronger and continues to nurture future generations.”
