COLOMBO – The 20th SIP Abacus and Mental Arithmetic International Competition 2023 was held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo on Sunday October 22. It was under the patronage of SIP Abacus Sri Lanka Country Manager Rishard Raheem.
SIP Academy, based in Colombo, is renowned for its programs designed to develop children’s skills up to international standards.
There were more than 1000 children including 200 overseas children from India, Singapore, UAE, Philippines, Tanzania, Bahrain, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Greece, Cyprus, Nepal, and Malaysia and children from all parts of Sri Lanka, including the east, west, and south, were present at this competition.
Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation Advisor Hassim Omar was present as chief guest and distributed awards to the winners of the contest.
Founder of the SIP Academy Kelvin Tham, Managing Director SIP Academy India and International Dinesh Victor, Head of Franchisee Skills and Engagement Sanjeeev Menon, Manager International Business Shazad Khan, Principal Zahira College Trizviy Marikar and Country Heads were present.
