COLOMBO : The current rain situation in the island is expected to continue.
Showers or thundershowers will occur in most parts of the island after around 2.00 pm.
Some places in Western, North-West, South, Central and Eastern Provinces received mm. A high of 75 is also possible.
Rains will also occur in the morning in the Western, Southern, North-Western and Eastern provinces.
People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to minimize the danger caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may accompany thunderstorms.
