The Views on Prophet Muhammad in Sinhala translation book launching ceremony was held at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute Auditorium, Colombo on Wednesday October 4. The nook original in Tamil has been translated into Sinhalese by Mohamed Rasook.
Former lecturer Zains Islam University, Malaysia and All Ceylon Jamiyathul Ulama Treasurer Dr. A. Azwer Azahim presided over the event.
President of the Sri Lanka Medical Association and leader of the Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement Dr. Vinya Ariyaratne was present as chief guest and the book was reviewed by Professor in History, Head of Department of History University of Peradeniya Prof. Rohitha Ariyarathna,
The maiden copy of the book was presented to the chief guest Dr. Vinya Ariyaratne by Dr. A. Azwer Azahim.
Buddhist, Hindu, Christians and Islamic religious leaders, scholars and media personnel were present.
