Pakistan high commissioner distributes dry rations to more than 300 deserving people in Slave Island

COLOMBO : Pakistan High Commissioner Major General (R) Ummar Farooq Burki sponsored distribution of dry ration packs for lower income families at the Gangarama Temple in the Slave Island on Thursday, June 30.
The distribution took place in the presence of Chief Incumbent of the Temple Dr. Assaji Thera for some 300 people from all religions.
Under the able leadership of the high commissioner Burki, the mission has been able to donate such dry rations to the poor people in the area
