COLOMBO : Saudi Arabia embassy’s charge D’affairs Abdulelah A.A. Orkobi called on the Environment Minister Hafiz Naseer Ahamed on Wednesday, June,15. He made use of the opportunity to have a discussion on Environment and other matters of mutual interests.
The diplomat informed the minister that Saudi Arabia considers the relations with Sri Lanka highly important and wishes to extend areas of cooperation between the two countries
Minister Ahamed discussed about getting regular supplies of oil from the Kingdom its willingness to cooperate in environmental conservation matters.
Minister Naseer Ahamed’s Advisor, Former defence Secretary Mr. Karunasena Hettiarachchi and Former senior Diplomat Mr. T.Z.A . Samsudeen was also present during the discussions.
