Lankan president agrees for an All party interim government with a new prime minister

COLOMBO: The Sri Lankan Freedom Party announced here on Friday , April 29 that the Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has agreed to form an all-party interim government under a new Prime Minister,

Chairman of the SLFP MP Maithripala Sirisena said that the President had agreed to form an interim government including all parties under a new Prime Minister and new Cabinet.
He further said that the President had made the agreement during a meeting with the 11 independent parties of the government that was held Friday morning.
