COLOMBO: Pettah vegetable market had another story to tell about the consumers on Saturday,March 19/
According to a vendor, there was a large stock of vegetables from all parts of the island to the market and they were sold at low prices due to the unprecedented stocks of vegetables unloaded at the market, but the people did not buy since they did not have adequate funds to make their purchases.
