COLOMBO: Showers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and Northern provinces and in Galle and Matara districts. A few showers are likely in Anuradhapura district.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in Uva province and in Ampara and Batticaloa districts during the afternoon or night.
Fairly heavy showers about 75mm can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
Strong winds up to (40-50) kmph can be expected over the island.
