Vehement protest opposite UN office in Geneva against alleged Indian interference in Sri Lanka’s internal matters

COLOMBO : An anti-India demonstration took place in front of the headquarters of the Human Rights Commission in the evening (27^th Sep 2021) to bring Geneva’s attention to India’s interference with other countries including Sri Lanka, according to Thinakural,Tamil daily published from the capital of Colombo on Wednesday,Sept. 29.

The protesters issued a Press Release to the media in connection with the Protest. They have stated that India has been widely accused of interfering in the affairs of South Asian countries with the United States in order to maintain its political position and to continue to control South Asian countries like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Nepal. The protest is being organized concurrently with the 48^th UNHRC conference held at the UN auditorium in Geneva
