COLOMBO : The lifting of the existing islandwide travel restriction on 21st June will be decided only two days before the set day, Cabinet co-spokesman Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said here on Tuesday.
He further said that the lifting of the travel restriction cannot be confirmed as yet, and a decision will be taken in this regard closer to the said date.
Minister Rambukwella added that the extending or relaxing of the islandwide travel restriction depends on the latest updates provided by the .
The Government imposed the travel restriction on the 21st of May to curtail the rapid spread of the third wave of the coronavirus.
