Eid prayers at home and from the web in mosques in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO- Muslims in Sri Lanka are celebrating their Eid Festival,following 30 days of continuous fasting,at their respective homes on Friday.

The government has imposed an islandwide lockdown due to the increasing incidence of Covid cases and victims in the country.

Worshippers remained at home and performed their prayers at their respective abodes. Imams in some leading mosques where prayers were conducted through Zoom and live FB telecast.
