On December 14, Chinese Ambassador Qi Zhenhong and Sri Lankan Education Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris launched Huawei’s “Seeds for the Future 2020” training program and extended their best wishes to the 16 Sri Lankan students from 10 universities and five provinces who were selected to receive training in the ICT industry and gain first-hand experience of Huawei’s latest technologies in China.
First “Seeds for the Future” program in Sri Lanka was launched in 2016 with 40 students receiving practical experience in the company’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China. This year, Seeds for the Future is held online amid the COVID-19 situation.
