COLOMBO : uFormer President Mahinda Rajapaksa was hospitalised this morning (12) following a sudden illness.
Reports indicate that Rajapaksa was admitted to a private hospital this morning and was briefly admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for treatment.
Several routine medical tests were subsequently conducted to assess his health condition.
As the results of the medical examinations were reportedly satisfactory, he is currently receiving standard medical care at the hospital.ada derana
