Sky Elevators to Mark 14 Years of “Elevating Excellence” with Anniversary Celebration
COLOMBO : Sky Elevators, the local face of Fuji Elevators, will celebrate 14 years since bringing the Chinese Manufactured Elevator brand to the Sri Lankan market with an anniversary event on Monday, 14th September , at the Grand Ballroom, Grand Zenith, Colombo 10, starting 7:00 PM onwards.
Themed “14 Years of Elevating Excellence” and “Reaching New Heights Together,” the evening will double as a celebration of the company’s journey and the unveiling of a new chapter for the business.
From Banking to Building Lifts
Behind Sky Elevators is Director M. H. M. Azmi, whose path to the elevator industry began far from engineering. Azmi spent 20 years in corporate banking, including a long tenure at Hatton National Bank across several districts as a Branch Manager, before relocating to Dubai in 2006 to take up an executive role in Islamic banking.
It was in the Gulf that Azmi first noticed the growing potential of the elevator industry and began exploring a shift from finance into a more technical, hands-on field. That interest eventually led him to found Sky Elevators in Sri Lanka in 2013, bringing the Chinese-manufactured Fuji Elevators brand to the local market.
To mark this occasion principals from China are also scheduled to participate in the event..
