COLOMBO : The Sri Lanka Hajj Delegation led by Deputy Minister Muneer Mulaffer arrived in Jeddah by SV 839 in the early hours of Friday morning on 23rd May.
On arrival , the delegation was received by Sri Lankan Consul General Justice M T Mohamed Laffar and the staff of the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Jeddah, at the King Abdulaziz International Airport on Friday.
The delegation comprised the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Hajj Committee Reyaz Mihular, members of the Hajj Committee and the Director of the Department of Muslim Religious Affairs .M S M Nawaz.
The Head of delegation , Deputy Minister Mulaffer is slated to attend the meeting with Minister of Hajj and Umrah during his stay in the holy city of Makkah.
