COLOMBO : The cheque for Rs. 4 million allocated for disaster relief was officially handed over to the members of the Colombo District Mosque Federation (CDMA) by JJ Foundation Chairman Mohamed Hanif Haji at the CDMA office in Wellampitiya on Wednesday,December 16 ..
This financial assistance has been provided by the JJ Foundation to support flood-affected families in the Colombo District, including Wellampitiya, Kolonnawa, and surrounding areas who were impacted by the recent floods and had not yet received adequate relief. The funds will be utilized through the Colombo District Mosque Federation to distribute dry rations and other essential items to those in need.
The cheque was formally handed over by Mohamed Hanif Haji at the Federation office in Wellampitiya in the presence of CDMA members.
