



COLOMBO : Almas Holdings (Pvt) Ltd has made a financial contribution of Rs. 100 million to the Government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund, established to provide relief to communities affected by the Ditwah cyclone.
The cheque was handed over yesterday afternoon (12) at the Presidential Secretariat by Chairman of Almas Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Imtiaz Buhardeen, to Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
During the meeting, Mr. Buhardeen expressed the company’s commitment to extend further support for flood relief and reconstruction initiatives in the Kandy District.
Also present on the occasion were Managing Director of Almas Equities (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Shameer Buhardeen, Almas Equities Pvt Ltd Managing Director Shamir Buhardeen, Directors Risvi Abdul Majeed, Ruzly Shamsudeen, Almas Equities Pvt Ltd CEO Ifadh Marikar and Strategic Development Advisor of Almas Holdings Pvt Ltd Takshila Hulangamuwa were also present at the event.
