COLOMBO : Popular journalist Rifthi Ali received two awards at the Presidential Media Awards – 2025 of Sri Lanka held at Nelum Pokuna on Tuesday, Nov. 11
Ali received the award for the Best Investigative Reporter of the Year (Tamil) as well as for the Best Web Reporter of the Year (Common)
In addition to this, Rifthi was also nominated for the Best News Reporting of the Year (Tamil) and the Best Investigative Award (English) and received special certificates of appreciation for these achievements.
The awards were presented by Media minister Dr Nalinda Jayatissa and Deputy media minister Dr Kaushalya Ariyarathne.
