COLOMBO — The Iran Cultural Center in Colombo organised the 1500th Anniversary of the Birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUM) at the Iran Cultural Center Auditorium, Colombo on Tuesday September 9.
It was held under the patronage of Iran Cultural Center Counsellor Mohammad Hussain Muzzaffari.
Hajjathul Islam wal Muslimeen Mohammed Reza Hathampoori, Representative of Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran for Sri Lanka , Former Ambassador of Iran Omar Kamil and Siddi Lebbe Research Center President Marsoon Moulana also addressed the event.
Oddamavadi Meeravodai Manbahul Huda Arabic College launched its Meelad Magazine and its first copy was handed over to Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Alireza Delkosh at this ceremony. There was an art exhibition and performance of Qaseeda by Muslim Choral Ensemble group.
