COLOMBO : Unemployed youths who had graduated from foreign universities staged a demonstration on Monday urging President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to give jobs for 3,747 men and women in Sri Lanka.
Due to Quarantine restrictions, the entire group of graduates could not participate in the protest, a demonstrator announced at the site. A petition requesting suitable jobs was present to the president at the end of the demonstration. They said that they will continue their protests islandwide if the request was ignored.
