COLOMBO : A grand cake exhibition on completion of the Three months Cake Making and Decoration course conducted by the Director of the RM Cake Art, Ms. Firawza Riza Mohamed was held at Galloluwa, Minuwangoda on January 23.
There were different shapes and varieties of cakes that were on display at this exhibition. They were made by the student trainees who effectively completed this programme that was conducted with the proper guidance of the tutor of Cake Icing & Decoration of RM, Ms. Firawza Riza Mohamed.
Best Cakes awards and participation awards were given to motivate the trainees of this comprehensive course. A large number of people the exhibition.
The internationally recognized Cake Designer Ms. Nilufa Ameerdeen graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
When the veteran tutor of Cake Designing and Decoration was asked about this exhibition, she reminded me that it is the need of the hour for women to achieve their goals. This is the first ever cake exhibition that was showcased in the history of Galloluwa, Minuwangoda.
