COLOMBO — The Hameed Al Husseinie College Group of 2003 recently organized a Seven-A-Side Cricket Tournament at the Champ Turf – Indoor Cricket and Futsal Arena in Malabe. The event was held under the patronage of Abdul Hakeem, President of the Group of 2003.
Twenty-four teams comprising old boys participated in the tournament. Avengers CC emerged as the champions, with team captain Mohamed Azman received the champion trophy from Platinum Sponsor Abdul Majeed, Partner, Roccat Axis Private Limited.
Additionally, awards were presented to the following outstanding players:
Best Batsman: Mohamed Zakir (Masters Team) Best Bowler: Mohamed Rakshan (Avengers CC Team) and Player of the Tournament: Mohamed Aslam (Avengers CC Team)
