COLOMBO: In continuation of the efforts made by Saudi Arabia under the directives of the Kingdom’s leadership, in the evacuation operations from Sudan to the Kingdom, 195 more persons of brotherly and friendly countries of the following nationalities arrived in the city of Jeddah this morning on Friday on April 28. They were from Pakistan, Palestine, Thailand, and Mauritania, Sri Lanka, the United States of America, Poland, India, the United Kingdom, Austria, Indonesia, Canada, Iraq, Egypt, Australia, and Syria.

Khalid Hamoud Al-Kahtani said they were ferried by His Majesty the King’s ship “Makkah”, in preparation for facilitating their departure to their respective countries.



This brings the total number of evacuees from Sudan since the start of the evacuation operations began approximately 2991 people (119 Saudi citizens and other 2872 people of 80 nationalities).
Stressing the Kingdom’s keenness to provide foreign nationals with all the basic needs in preparation for facilitating their departure to their countries, and thus the total of those evacuated from Sudan since the beginning of the evacuation.
