COLOMBO : Some 1,200 Sri Lankan hoteliers will seek foreign jobs at the online foreign job fair has been organized by the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) at 10 am on Saturday, October 16.
SLBFE spokesman Mangala Randeniya said the fair has been organized to provide employment opportunities for job seekers through licensed foreign employment agencies.
According to the SLBFE, employment opportunities are in the hotel and restaurant sectors.
The online foreign job fair will take place via zoom.
The spokesman said that this is first time the SLBFE is hold the job fair virtually because of the pandemic. However, he said that he hope to see a good number of participants at the fair. “ We have invited some 1,200 foreign job sekers who are registered with the SLBFE and we have also invited the licensed recruiting agents and this is going to be platform for job-seekers and recruiters to meet and identify themselves to the recruitment process.
