COLOMBO — Zeenath Trading Private Limited Chairman Al Haj A.H.M. Mahir hosted an iftar at the Grand Zenith Banquets, Colombo, on Wednesday, March 18.
Moulavi M.J.M. Azhar delivered a special speech on the significance of Ramadan, during which he explained the importance of Sadakathul Fitr. He also urged everyone to observe the five daily prayers on time.
The event was attended by Zeenath Trading Private Limited Managing Director Mayaz Maheer and staff, Colombo Times Editor-in-Chief Mohamad Rasooldeen, SLBC Muslim Service former Director and senior journalist M.Z. Ahamed Munawar, as well as members of the Mahir Haji family.
Moulavi M.J.M. Azhar led the Maghrib prayers, followed by dinner.
