COLOMBO : Zam Zam Foundation’s capacity building programme certificate awarding ceremony was held on February 25 at Zahira College Auditorium in Colombo.
Over 200 students / participants who completed the courses / programmes which lasted from six months to 15 months including VIP (Valued Imam Project) for personality development of Masjid Imams, Sankalpa course for Social and Religious leaders, Mini MBA course for education sector executives, Examplery Youth Leadership Fellowship (EYLF) for young community leaders, BIS covering the fundamentals and values of basic Islam & Muslims in Sri Lanka, received certificates.
Chancellor of South Eastern University, President’s Counsel Dr. Faisz Mustapha, Commissioner of Human Rights Commission Ven. Kalupahana Piyaratna Thero, Director of Central Provincial Education Department Mr. M.G. Amarasiri Piyadasa, Chairman of Zam Zam Foundation Mufthi. Yoosuff Haniffa, President of All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Mufthi. M. I. M. Rizwe , Religious leaders, civil society leaders from the community, well-wishers and many others participated in the ceremony.
It is noteworthy that the certificate awardees were from over 22 districts and representing all 9 provinces in Sri Lanka, reaffirming that Zam Zam Foundation’s services are extended to all parts of Sri Lanka
