COLOMBO — Zahira College hosted a special event of the Sponsor Recognition and Jersey Revealing Ceremony for its college Rugby at the College Ghaffoor Hall on Tuesday April 22.
With over 100 years of rugby heritage, Zahira College is set to make waves in the 2025 Schools Rugby season. Following back-to-back Top 6 finishes, the team enters the new season with fresh energy, determination, and a clear vision to rise even higher.
Principal of the Zahira College Trizviiy Marikkar briefed on Zahira Rugby and thanked the sponsors who came forward to help the 2025 Zahira Rugby Season.
Fueling Zahira’s journey are lead sponsors Moose Clothing Company, Diamond Best Food, and Ride Energy Drink, alongside key partners: ATG Group of companies (Safety and Personal Protection Equipment Partner), Hatton National Bank (Banking Partner), Bairaha (Nourishment Partner), and Hemas Hospitals (Healthcare Partner).
Leading the charge on the field is Sri Lanka U18 player Luqman Nadeem, guided by former national star and championship-winning coach Radhika Hettiarachchi
The 2025 campaign kicks off on April 26th with a President’s Trophy Knockout Pre-Quarter Final clash against Vidyartha College. Backed by talent and an exceptional support system, Zahira Rugby is ready to make its mark.
