COLOMBO — As a gesture of continued support for their Alma Mater, members of the Zahira College Colombo Old Boys Association of Saudi Arabia gifted a printer to the newly formed Edexcel Unit of the College, reaffirming their commitment to strengthen the academic resources for the next generation of Zahirians.
The official handing over ceremony of the printer was held on Tuesday August 4 at the Principal’s office in the College.
Mr. Trizvii Marikkar the Principal of the College received the gift from the officials of the Zahira College Colombo OBA Saudi Arabia.
On behalf of the President Mohamed Tausif Pallie, the Saudi Arabian Chapter was represented by its Founder President Mohamed Afkar Hassan along with its Vice President Nuhuman Kaleel and Editor Afham Azwer.
Also present on the occasion were the Vice Principal and Head of the English Section Mrs. Zeenath Ismail, the Edexcel Section Lead of the College Mrs. Farsha Roomi and the Secretary of the Parent OBA of Colombo Dr. Shafraz Saleem.
As an affiliated body of the Zahira College Colombo Old Boys Association, the Saudi Arabian Chapter of the ZCC OBA was inaugurated in the year 2015 in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. It represents all the old boys of Colombo Zahira staying in the entire Saudi Arabia.
