COLOMBO — Interact Club of D. S. Senanayake College held their annual Interact Cultural Festival at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel on Sunday June 2.
Country Manager – Sri Lanka and Maldives at MasterCard Sandun Hapugoda was present as the chief guest and Deputy Principal of D.S. Senanayake College Upul Perera was present as the guest of honour.
Staff Advisor – Mrs. Princy Perera , Club President – Haroon Shamil , Club Secretary Navindu Dias, Thejeeth Jayaraj , Project Chairperson – Mothila Dissanayake, Project Secretary – Senodh Inimankada, Prefects of Societies Duminda Dissanayake and Rotary Public Image Chair for Sri Lanka and Maldives Marshad Barry were also present.
Interact Clubs of Zahira College, St. Joseph’s College, Cambridge School, Gothami Balika Vidyalaya and Sujatha Vidyalaya participated in the Quiz , Entertainment event and Fashion Show Completions. In the finals, Interact Club of Zahira College emerged as the winner of the competition.
Randika Gunathilake, Michelle Dilhara and Dhanushka Raymond were panel of judges of the above competitions.
President of the Zahira College Interact Club Imadh Rajabdeen received the Interact Cultural Challenge Shield from D.S. Senanayake College Deputy Principal Upul Perera.
Deputy Principal Upul Perera presented a token of appreciation to chief guest Country Manager – Sri Lanka and Maldives at MasterCard Sandun Hapugoda at this ceremony.
