COLOMBO — All Ceylon YMMA Conference Patron and International Affairs Committee Chairman Fawzan Anver, National President M.R.M. Ziyard, Scholarship Committee Chairman Rizvi Farook, and International Affairs Committee Secretary Ruzaik Farook met with the Ambassador of Indonesia, Dewi Gustina Tobing, at the Indonesian Embassy on Thursday, September 1.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Indonesia, with particular focus on strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The delegation also discussed scholarship opportunities for deserving students. Scholarship Committee Chairman Rizvi Farook presented a scholarship project proposal to the Ambassador for her consideration and support.
Information Affairs Committee Chairman Fawzan Anver briefed the Ambassador on the activities of the YMMA Conference over the past 76 years through its 167 branches across the country. He highlighted the organisation’s work in education, sports, health, women’s empowerment, leadership development, and seminars.
