Several spells of showers will occur in Northern and Eastern provinces and in Anuradhapura and Hambantota districts.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts in the evening or night. Heavy rainfalls, about 100 mm are likely at some places.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
