War criminal Netanyahu’s unprovoked war on Iran -US led UK- European support destroys world order.

LATHEEF FAROOK

COLOMBO – Iran is an ancient country with a proud history of more than 7500 years. It was an empire and Iranians were proud of their history, rich heritage and culture,
The Middle East which was under Turkey’s Ottoman Empire for centuries was brought under British-French control during World War 1 in 1914.The two European powers divided Middle East and installed ,oppressive and secular Arab rulers to serve their interests as stooges. This situation continues to date.
Israel is a fascist fake state established on Palestinians lands by means of genocides in violation of all laws and established human values by US, UK and European imperial powers to ensure Muslim Middle East remains destabilized. Since its creation in 1948 Israel committed around 30 massacres and genocides of Palestinians causing untold miseries to innocent people in the region. The latest being the ongoing genocide in Gaza

As part of this ongoing crime Israel, in the early hours of Friday 13 June 2025, under the cover of darkness using more than 200 fighter planes, launched waves of military airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear program and ballistic-missile sites .In the process Israel killed top military brass, including both Ayatollah Khamenei’s second-in-command and the commander in chief of the Revolutionary Guards, as well as eight top nuclear scientists.
This happened while Israel continues its genocide of Palestinians in Gaza since 8 October 2023.It was the worst attacks on Iran since its war with Iraq in the 1980s.
According to reports Israel struck Iran’s top nuclear complex at Natanz; social media images showed the uranium enrichment facility engulfed in flames. Natanz is Iran’s main uranium enrichment facility, which is located in mountainous terrain about 220 kilometers south of Tehran. It is a heavily fortified site and much of the facility is underground.

Demonstrating the western hypocrisy and collaboration French President Emmanuel Macron said Israel had the right to protect itself and ensure its security”. This is what former US President genocide Joe Biden and others said when Israel launched its ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza in October 2023

Iran swiftly responded with repeated missile attacks on Tel Aviv and Haifa causing havoc and destruction. Iran launched more than 100 drone and ballistic missile attacks at Israel in an initial retaliation . Israel shut its embassies across the world. Israelis said the initial euphoria over the shock attacks on Iran has given way to fear, after Iranian missiles slammed into central Tel Aviv and other parts of Israel, causing widespread destruction and killings.

Donald Trump, installed in power by Zionist Jewish billionaires to promote and protect Israel, best friend and protector of Saudi, UAE, Qatari and other Arab dictators has been involved in the Israeli attacks on Iran from the very inception.

Within hours Trump said the attacks were “excellent” and “very successful”. ,declared a war criminal by International Court of Jusice, responded by showering the US leader with praise. “Happy Birthday to you, President Donald J. Trump,” Netanyahu said in a statement. “You’ve been an extraordinary leader, decisive, courageous, with a clear vision and clear action. You have done great things for Israel.”
Trump’s so called talks with Iran on its peaceful nuclear program only served to hoodwink the world in helping Israel in its war against Iran.
According to reports Donald Trump sent around 300 Hellfire missiles to Israel for the attack on Tuesday in a large-scale stock-up of supplies before its attack. It was already approved as part of a $7.4bn arms deal that included bombs, missiles, and related equipment that Congress was notified of in February 2025. The US military helped shoot down Iranian missiles that were headed towards Israel, two US officials told Reuters on Friday.
Progressive U.S. politicians, antiwar activists and human rights defenders called for a diplomatic solution and an end to American support for Israel .

Time and again Iran said that its nuclear program is peaceful and denied seeking to develop nuclear weapons. IAEA Director General Rafael Grosse who failed to condemn Israeli attack said: “This development is deeply concerning. I have repeatedly stated that nuclear facilities must never be attacked, regardless of the context or circumstances as it could harm both people and the environment.”

Antonio Guterres, the UN secretary general, condemned military escalation in the region, his spokesperson Farhan Haq said. “He is particularly concerned by Israeli attacks on nuclear installations in Iran while talks between Iran and the United States on the status of Iran’s nuclear program are underway,” Haq said.

The US and Israel have been planning for decades to carry out an attack on Iran’s nuclear refinement facilities, a move that was widely seen as triggering a full-scale regional war. Juan Cole at the University of Michigan said Trump himself paved the way to this war by trashing the 2015 nuclear deal, but now he must condemn—not support—this brazen and unlawful military campaign.
Since the events of October 7, 2023, Israel has carried out waves of attacks on Iran and its allies throughout the Middle East. This has created an opportunity for the US and Israel to launch their long-planned attack on Iran’s nuclear refining centers. Last year, Israel launched a series of airstrikes, with the support of the United States, on Iran’s air defenses, creating an opening for Thursday’s attack.
Israel’s attack on Iran is part of what Netanyahu has called a plan to create a “new Middle East” under US-Israeli domination. This includes the annexation of all of Palestine by Israel through ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza, to be followed by the West Bank.
Arab dictators were willing collaborators in this conspiracy
However independent journalist Antony Lowenstein said :beyond Israel’s image problems lies a deeper question: can it ever expect full acceptance in the Middle East? Apart from kings, monarchs and elites from Dubai to Riyadh and Manama to Rabat, Israel’s vicious and genocidal actions since 7 October 2023 have rendered “normalization” impossible with a state intent on building a Jewish theocracy that subjugates millions of Arabs indefinitely.
According to Middle East Eye Orly Noy, a Jerusalem-based journalist, Iran’s attacks had shattered the myth that Israeli leaders had often repeated to the Israeli public: that they were immune to any and all reprisal attacks. “The Israeli public has been convinced over the years that it can exist here in the region while deeply disdaining all its neighbors and rampaging in a thuggish and murderous manner against everyone – whenever and however it wants – relying solely on brute force.

“That’s why there was something so substantial about the sight of the bombed-out buildings in Ramat Gan,” he said.” They are so similar to the images we’re used to seeing from Gaza. Those sooty grey skeletons of buildings, that billowing cloud of dust, that carpet of ash and rubble covering the street, those images of children’s dolls in the hands of rescue teams.” The scale is, of course, completely different, but these images are nevertheless a momentary rupture of this disturbed fantasy that we are immune to everything,” he added.
