COLOMBO :Chief incumbent of the Abayaramaya temple, Ven. Murutthettuwe Ananda Thero requested teachers to commence teaching after the recommencement of schools.

The Thero said this when several parents visited the Abayaramaya temple today (10), to inform him of the state if the education of their children.

The parents requested the Thero to inform the teachers to start teaching after the recommencement of the schools.

Ven. Murutthettuwe Ananda Thero said that he has discussed the teachers-principal salary anomaly issue with the President, Prime Minister, Education and Finance Ministers, and that the authorities have agreed to solve it.
