COLOMBO :  US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu, is scheduled to visit the island upcoming week on an official visit.

He is scheduled to visit India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh till the 15th.

The US State Department says that extensive discussions regarding the assistance provided by the United States for the recovery of Sri Lanka’s economy will take place.
His visit aims to reaffirm America’s support for a free, open and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.
