COLOMBO : The Board of Management of the Ummu Zaviya Mosque celebrated the ” 123rd Annual Shamaailil Muhammadiyah Thamam ” Meelad un Nabi, the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Sal) on Friday September 5 at the Ummu Zaviya Mosque, Colombo.
The program was held under the patronage of Ajward al Fassy Arabic College Principal Kaleefathul Shazuli Al Aalim Al Haj Moulavi Ahmed Sufi [Mahlari].
Western Province Governor Haniff Yusoof, President of the Ummu Zaviya Mosque Deshabandu Al Haj Macky Hashim, Former Trustee Hussain Hashim, Religious Committee Chairman and former Palestine Ambassador Al Haj. Fawzan Anver, trustees of the mosque and Ulamas were also present at the function.
