COLOMBO : The property of Kollupitiya Super Market which belongs to the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC), has been vested with the Urban Development Authority (UDA).
This transfer of ownership was made through an extraordinary gazette issued by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in his capacity as the Minister of Urban Development & Housing.
Previously, the Super Market complex located next to the Liberty Cinema, was under the purview of the Colombo Municipal Council.
