KINNIYA: Two people have been diagnosed with corona infection in the area under the MOH of the Kinniya, Regional Health Services Director V. Premanand said when he was contacted by phone at 11.45 pm Sunday night December 20.
He mentioned that only 24- and 47-year-olds living in areas such as Annal Nagar and Hijra Road who had travelled to Kinniya from Colombo had been infected.
Meanwhile, in Trincomalee district, 38 people have been diagnosed positive so far and more than 2400 have been PCR tested, he added.
