COLOMBO : Two persons were killed and four more seriously injured in a road accident involving a car crashing into three three-wheelers and four motorcycles in Mattakkuliya, north of Colombo, on Wednesday night , September. 16.
The accident had occurred when a car collided with several vehicles travelling along the road.
According to reports, the car struck three three-wheelers and four motorcycles.
Six were admitted to the Colombo National Hospital, where two later succumbed to their injuries, hospital sources confirmed.
The remaining four are receiving treatment for serious injuries.
Police have arrested the driver of the car involved in the accident.
Mattakkuliya Police are conducting further investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
