GENEVA: The raising of the Kashmir issue by Turkiye and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the 52nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) has drawn global attention.
India not only denounced the Turkey’s Erdogan government but also went as far as to even slam the High-Level Segment of 52nd session of the UN Human Rights Council.
New Delhi asked Ankara to refrain from commenting on, what it claimed, “India’s internal matters”.
Not only this, the Indian regime stooped too low to remember Turkey of the little relief consignment it sent to the earthquake victims and used its TV channels to raise the question as to “why is the Turkish government wading into India’s internal matters regarding Kashmir”.
However, the Indian government has forgotten that if Kashmir is its internal issue then why the United Nations has passed over a dozen resolutions declaring Jammu and Kashmir as a disptue whose political future is to be determined through a UN-supervised plebiscite.
